Venice is probably the most photographed city in the world, so my challenge was to see it differently. It was more the city itself than the people, and by the way, after 8pm it's pretty empty! I took photos in the evening and there were hardly any people in the streets. Same thing in the early mornings; and of course no cars. I was fascinated by the architecture, floating between the water and the sky, and tried to translate this into the desaturated panoramas. And especially by the colors, the faded ocres, greens, blues, greys ... found in all of the city - and translated by using long exposures and slightly moving the camera during the exposure; my personal perception of Venice.

This selection was exhibited at the Galerie du Lion d'Or in Montcuq in September 2014 and in Toulouse in March 2016, plus in Auvillar during May 2017, Montolieu and Fanjeaux in August 2017, Lauzerte and Cahors around December 2017 and in Dausse (Lot et Garonne) in February 2018

Cette série sur Venise est prise en hiver 2014, 2015 et 2017 (elle continue!), et les photos ont été exposées en septembre 2014 à la Galerie du Lion d'Or, Montcuq et à IUT, Toulouse en Mars 2016 et Castelnau Montratier en Novembre, en 2017 à Auvillar, Montolieu, Fanjeaux, Lauzerte et Cahors et en 2018 en Dausse dans le Lot et Garonne.
