FRANCE

The LOT, South West FRANCE is where I live. Moved down here in 2001, so lots of shots from this area and from MONTCUQ, the village I live in. The Lot landscape is very special: The river Lot winding like mad; vineyards, limestone "causses", hills and deep valleys; truffle oaks, wild orchids, bits of farmland and meadows in between; "bastide" towns, castles, and traditional limestone houses, dating back to the 12th century. A very long and rich history!

Occasionally, I visit other regions in France. Went to BRITTANY in September 2012, so a few images from there as well.
